About Aaron Bare
Aaron Bare is a Design-minded Entrepreneur, Thunderbird B.School, Stanford D.School, Singularity grad with experience as an I-Banker, Consultant & Advertising Executive, who has sold 12 companies, & built numerous others as a co-founder, strategist or advisor. Aaron is currently working with WDHB, KAOSPILOT & Hyper Island facilitating companies on Innovation, he is a Lecturer at Arizona State University (ASU) & CTO at Primer Strategy. Aaron was previously EIR at Thunderbird & ASU, CEO of Buzz Mouth, Management Consultant at Accenture & Money Manager at Vanguard.
Aaron started in CyberSecurity in 1995, when the Berkman Center at Harvard launched the first class on Cyber Law. He learned to code in 1995 & in grad school at IU was part of UITS. Aaron continued coding at Accenture & built first website for Culligan & a CRM for Walgreens. Aaron also created over 400 websites, 20 mobile apps at BuzzMouth & 100’s of hours of video content for employers while at JobingTV, CareerTours & Purposely. Aaron is a member of the Society of Fellows at the Aspen Institute, previously with the McCain Institute & Google Ideas on Illicit Networks & Anti-Extremism. Aaron’s work was featured in Wired Magazine’s Danger Room. He is currently enrolled at the University of Oxford in MS in Computer Science. He received his MBA in Global Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management & an MA in Economic Development from Indiana University.
Aaron speaks often about security & disruption through a series of speeches sponsored by the Kauffman Foundation, Global Sales Summit, Tijuana Innovadora & RUSTIC. Aaron’s success & proven performance as a leader in his field garnered him acknowledgement as “35 under 35” Entrepreneurs; “40 under 40” Leaders; also selected as Most Innovative Company of the Year; & featured in the likes of the Wall Street Journal, Wired, Fast Company, and Inc. Magazine. Aaron lives with his family in Scottsdale, he enjoys traveling, sailing & skiing.
