Who we are
This site is operated by Aaron Bare, LLC ("Aaron Bare," "we," "us"). This Privacy Policy works alongside our Terms of Service and any written proposal, statement of work, or engagement agreement you receive from us (each, a "Proposal"). If anything in a signed Proposal conflicts with this policy, the signed Proposal controls for that engagement.
What we collect
When you submit a form (speaking inquiry, podcast application, contact, newsletter signup, proposal review, or partner intake), we collect the information you provide — name, email, company, role, message, scope details, and similar information. We also collect basic analytics (pages viewed, referrer, device type) and proposal-engagement data (which proposal links you opened, when, from where) so we can follow up intelligently.
How we use it
To respond to your inquiry, prepare and deliver Proposals, run engagements you've contracted, send the newsletter you opted into, and improve the site. We do not sell your data. We may use trusted processors (email delivery, analytics, hosting, payments, e-signature) to operate the site and deliver engagements.
Confidentiality of proposal & engagement information
Any non-public business information you share with us in the course of a Proposal or engagement — strategy, financials, roadmaps, customer data, org charts, vendor relationships — is treated as your Confidential Information. We will (a) use it only to evaluate, prepare, or perform the engagement, (b) limit access to people with a need to know, and (c) protect it with at least the same care we use for our own confidential information. The same protection runs in reverse for anything we share with you that is marked or reasonably understood to be confidential (frameworks, pricing, unreleased materials, client references). These obligations survive for three (3) years after our last interaction, and indefinitely for trade secrets. See the mutual non-disclosure language in our Terms of Service for the full clause that applies to every Proposal by default.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies and local storage for site preferences, analytics, and proposal-link tracking. You can clear them in your browser at any time.
Retention
Inquiry and proposal records are retained for up to seven (7) years to support tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe. Confidential Information shared under a Proposal is returned or destroyed on written request after the engagement ends, subject to routine backup retention and legal hold.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting us through the inquiry form on the homepage. Newsletter unsubscribe links are in every email.
